    Description

2020Dec30 -- I am TOP RATED on this marketplace with a current 12-month FEEDBACK rating of 100%, and I offer Combined Shipping. See my last 2 pics for my eBay Seller Level and eBay Feedback.
For shipping I have specified a handling time of 10 business days.
I have for sale 2 asbestos paper insulation patches for installation in the shell of an AF GP7 / GP9 diesel engine shell. These patches are for protection from melt damage to your valuable plastic engine shells caused by the headlamp bulbs, a well-known AF GP7 / GP9 problem, as seen in pic 4. Installation as seen in pics 2 & 3, not included as part of this deal.
Asbestos is an excellent thermal insulator, and years ago was used extensively. However, chronic exposure to asbestos fibers is now a known health risk. You will have essentially zero exposure from your one-time installation of these patches. However, use at your own risk.
I have installed these patches in all of my GP7 engines.
Install with most any kind of glue (I use E6000) or with double-stick tape. Patch size is 23mm x 30mm.
Though not banned in the USA, asbestos products are now very difficult or near impossible to find. Years ago I bought a large roll of asbestos paper from which I cut these patches. That was back when you could buy products like this, along with other cool stuff like real "Cherry Bomb" firecrackers.
    About shipping ...
o This is a tiny item and I could ship it for in a 1st class letter envelope, but I won't because that shipment would be non-tracked, resulting in ...
o A scamming buyer claiming he didn't receive it. (This has happened.)
o eBay giving me a seller "Black Mark" for a non-tracked shipment.
