US Actress. Typed signed letter with handwritten post script with personal New York address from Audrey Hepburn to Rupert Allen of "Look Magazine," May 17, 1954. 1 page. Hepburn writes to thank Rupert Allen for good wishes he sent regarding her Broadway performance as the title character in "Ondine." The show premiered on February 18, and later that year, Hepburn won a Best Actress Tony Award for her work in this play. "Ondine" also co-starred Hepburn's first husband, Mel Ferrer, whom she married in September 1954. Rupert Allen was a celebrity publicist and manager, who represented stars such as Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly. Horizontal crease in page. Very good condition.
