    This Mountain Lion Cougar Statue is safe to use for covered patios and outdoors with the exception of hail storms and strong winds. If you plan to use this figurine outdoors, we recommend applying another layer of UV coat this statue to avoid paint discoloration, chips and peels (1 layer has been applied at the factory). Buy a clear, spray-on polyurethane product that states specifically that it provides UV protection. These products are readily available in your local hardware/paint stores.
