Fine Antique Hand-Carved Shaoshan Soapstone Foo Turtle Dragon Teapot 6.5" x 2.5"

I'm pleased to offer for sale this exquisite hand-carved Shaoshan soapstone "Foo Dragon Turtle" lidded teapot that was purchased in China in the 1950s and features some truly exceptional details, including an ornate ball and claw finial, a curved handle that resembles a dragon's reptilian scaled tail, a spout that resembles a dragon's head, adorned by his mane, a body that resembles a tortoise/turtle complete with 4 feet, and a perfectly fitting lid -- all carved on this gorgeous blood red and grey marbled jade-like soapstone.
This teapot measures 6.5" wide (from spout to handle) x 3.25" deep x 2.5" tall (to the top of the finial) and weighs 1 pound 5 ounces. It's in outstanding condition, with no observable or noteworthy imperfections.
