Description
This is a wonderful Diary/Almanac for 1882-1883 published by G.G. Green, manufacturers of patent medicines in Woodbury, New Jersey. This copy was distributed by a druggist in Viola, Illinois. There was likely a significant German speaking population in that area as this is a GERMAN LANGUAGE edition of the diary. Lovely color lithography, many wonderful illustrations, advertising for various patent medicines. There are some pencil entries in the diary. Shows light wear and covers have separated from the inner text. Still, a remarkably complete and generally lightly-worn copy. Measures 6 3/4 X 9, 32 pages. Truly charming!!
