    9X12 Color original drawing of John Stees as himself drawing characters signed; "With Warm regards and the Season's Greetings, John Stees, United Feature Syndicate."  In very good condition.

    John
    Stees was a well known artist / cartoonist for the Baltimore Sun Newspaper from 1936-1979. He also was a cartoonist and artist for both The Sunday Sun and The Evening Sun.  Even after he retired from the Sun in 1979 his strip "Stees Sees" continued appearing until his death in 1982.
