    Description

    This is a vintage item and is being listed as such. The contents are very old and some are most likely unusable although present. This is mainly for display purposes. The metal box is as pictured with visual rust areas and a nice readable label. It latches closed but it seems a little bent as you have to move it just right to close it. It does have some stiffness to the movement of the lid. The only thing missing is the Tannic acid jelly. It was in the box but it was falling apart with contents falling out and pretty damaged so it was discarded. The rest is described as follows:
    1 gauze bandage- box is unopened but does have some dark discoloration so I’m not sure what the contents looks like inside. Leaving package sealed. Reads 2 inches and 10 yards.
    1/2 oz Calamine lotion- there are some of the contents inside but it is hardened and unusable. Label is nice and readable. Does have some discoloration to the bottle due to age.
    1 Tincture Merthiolate 10cc- there is contents that appears to have a yellow color to it. It’s looks full. The holes that measure the side are all filled. Label is nice and readable. There is some discoloration due to age
    1/2oz absorbent cotton- this is unused. Looks to be in nice condition. The box does show some flawed areas from sitting in the box but label is nice and readable and contents seem fine.
    1 tourniquet- this looks to be unused and present. I believe it says GUYOT BROS on the buckle. Box has pictured flaws due to sitting but is mostly readable.
    30 Aspirin tablets- these are in the container but not usable. They look fairly decomposed from age although some are not. The label is nice and readable but there is some discoloration and surface scratches to the lid.
    1 adhesive plaster 1”x 2.5 yards- this is sealed and unused. Does have minor rusting on tin outer and some discoloration but it readable and in pretty nice overall condition.
    1 box plastic adhesive bandages assorted- bandages are inside. Not sure if they are all there but there are quite a few. The tin shows rusting around the top but looks to be fully readable.
    4 gauze pads 3”x3”- all pads are there and labeled as 12 ply. The box shows some flaws as pictured but it is readable, more on one side than the other.
    1 Aromatic sp. of ammonia, 2cc- looks like the contents in this was broken and it seeped through the packaging. Once the cotton ball is removed from one end, there appears to be broken glass shards from the container that may have held it. The outer packing looks to be peeling away a little bit it is still fully readable.
    Also there were some bolts and washers and what looks like a metal pin to poke a hole in the missing tube.
