NOTE:
The photos are fairly close to the original.  The original is rich and deep pink and the femur is beige with a greenish tinge.  The skin is not mottled as seen below.  The severed leg is nicer than our photos.
DESCRIPTION:  This is a very interesting item.  It is a promotional bloody and gory severed leg signed by Chuck Palahniuk.  He has authored 19 novels, 3 non fiction books, 2 graphic novels and 2 adult cook books as well as short stories.  His first book,
Fight Club
was made into a film.  This is a fascinating and rare piece for any Chuck Palahniuk afficionado.  it was signed with a silvery metallic pen which is we believe looks better than the signature with a black pen.   We have found many severed arms and a few hands and a couple feet that have sold or are for sale, but no legs with a foot attached.  This is the only one, hence its rarity.  The leg is made of a rubber like material and the stuffing of bits of scrap foam and thick material that looks like quilt padding.  We believe there is too much stuffing, as the top with the femur can be removed from the leg.  The pieces fit great, but there is a slight gap and you have to push the top part down and coax the edges into the fitted marks.  This could easily be remedied by removing stuffing and gluing with silicone or a similar glue.  There is slight glue residue.  We chose to leave it along and kept just as it is.  As you can see, it looks good in the photos.  The skin is a rich and deep pink and it is not mottled as seen in our photos.   It is also much nicer than seen above.  From the longest femur to the big toe, the foot is about 21 1/2 inches.  We are not certain, but believe this may be from
