RARE Vintage Disney Chars. Tooled Leather Book Bag / Messenger Bag - Brown
Absolutely gorgeous!
100% tooled leather embossed with various Disney characters and intricate borders. One outside pocket separated from the main compartment by what appears to be some sort of oilcloth (orange/red) in very good condition. The 2 metal buckles close best when the book bag is expanded (stuffed / filled), due to the direction of the pins. Uncertain of its provenance or date - could come from continental Europe (Spain) or Mexico ("Pertenece a..." is Spanish for "Belongs to..."). All details considered this could date to as early as the 1950s.

The name tag on front is still "empty".
No evident scratches, tears or cracks. A few areas of light discoloration on the inside that is quite clean actually; some wear on the back of the leather straps. Very light wear on the outside leather (mostly around the "shoulders" area at the back, that might very well disappear when cleaned. Please note this bag was not cleaned or reconditioned, on purpose.
