Velvet Spotted Leopard
making her presence known amidst fronds of jungle foliage.  Something about her posture, as though she was minding her own business when unexpectedly challenged by another.  Without changing direction, she looks back over her shoulder and snarls - reinforcing her place in the hierarchy. She is a presence to be reckoned with!
There are so many fabulous threads on the market to complement this fabulous feline.  She could literally become velvety if that was your choice of thread, or perhaps the depth and sheen of silk.  The foliage cleverly provides distinct foreground and background, adding dimension to the
Leopard
peering though the plants.  Overdyed threads are a good choice for some of the foliage, with a more subtle contrast on other leaves stitched with a family of greens that you blend yourself.  An open background stitch and your canvas is ready for the finisher!
Circumstances have forced me to part with my collection, and this one is difficult to let go to a new home.
The canvas has been stored flat and is as fresh as the day I bought it.  While it is pre-owned, it is in no way "used."
