Up for bids is a vintage 1939 Gauztex for Sportsmen Self Adhering Gauze metal tin. This item is in good condition for the age. It is empty and the top slides freely to expose the inside which is in great condition. See close-up pics for condition as this is the exact item you will receive. The gauze size was 3/4" wide x 7 1/2 yards long. The tin measures 2 1/2" tall x 2 1/4" wide x 1" deep. Manufactured by General Bandages, Inc. - Chicago, Illinois. Keep in mind that vintage items in this category can show patina caused from humidity, handling and shipping such as loose labels, scratches, stains, label loss, rust, paint loss, discoloration, yellowing, tears, holes, humidity spots, fading, dents and nicks.
