    Description

    Here is an interesting find that I found in an old button collection; a pocket matchbook style personal First Aid Kit.  This is a pretty neat little item, fashioned to be just like a matchbook but somewhat taller; measuring 3 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide.  The matchbook has advertising for C&P Telephone Company of Maryland (part of the nationwide Bell system).  The lid opens an inside is a pamphlet for a First Aid Guide installed along with band-aids and foil packs of antiseptic.  Estimate this is from the 1960's/70's.  In very good condition.
